All our directors except chairman Graham Crombie work in the business every day. All are members of the Institute of Directors and have been trained in directorship governance.
Mark Cameron – Owner, Managing director
Mark is the managing director of Action Engineering Limited and founded the company in 1991. In this time, he has managed most of the significant projects that the company has been involved with, and has shaped the business into its current form. His main specialty is the design, construction and commissioning of complex water and waste water treatment systems.
Dave Crosland – Owner, Client Manager
Dave joined Action in 1993, and became a shareholder and director in 1996. His main role is to manage large projects, and he also acts as a client manager to assist our long-term clients.
Allan Golden – Owner, Production Manager
Allan joined Action in 1998, and became a shareholder and director in 2006. Allan is the production manager of our engineering shop, and co-ordinates the daily operation of staff involved with industrial, transport and marine engineering services.
Samantha McEwan – Business Manager
Samantha joined Action in 2009 after moving to New Zealand from Australia. Sam was integral to moving Action’s office from a paper-based to computer-based systems. Sam was appointed a director in 2010 and currently also holds the title of Business Manager.
Graham Crombie – Independent Chair
A professional director and chartered accountant, Graham has recently been appointed chair of DCC-owned Dunedin City Holdings Ltd. He also chairs the Otago Museum Trust Board and the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is deputy chair of NZ Genomics Ltd, director of Innovatio Ltd and a partner at Polson Higgs.
